Hello, and welcome to the LR-H Disk readme file.

This disk is just a collection of finished (and unfinished) Apple II Lo-Resolution
animation/picture editing software I've written over the years. Some dating back
way early on into the 1980's - Yikes!

Have fun with it, try a few of the files out, and above all else, let Scatter.Dots
run for a long time (or speed the hell out of it with an emulator) to see some
pretty "nifty" Apple II art!

| Updates to the Lo-Res Hijinks Disk |

Lodraw now has routines for horizontal flip (H) and vertical flip (J) of the
drawing screen. The intro page has been updated to put more "hijinks" on
the screen during startup. Another picture has been added to give you an
idea of what can be created with Lodraw... Filename: "pic.t2e" And finally,
In Lodraw, to get a "CAT" or "CATALOG" of the disk, press return when asked
for filename during a load or save. Be forewarned, under certain circum-
stances, the undo buffer will be messed up during this operation, and you'll
lose the current picture being worked on. A fix for this is to simply save
your drawing before requesting any catalogs.

Lodraw and Lodraw.toolbox have been updated to perform more functions. Press
"?" or "/" during runtime to see the command chart. Recent revisions include
optimize position of the Lo-Res Screen (O) and the mighty merge buffer. To use
the merge buffer, load picture 1 then press (T) transfer to merge buffer. Load
picture number 2 and press (+) to merge the pictures using an Exclusive OR
routine. To optimize the positioning of the screen press (O) and then use the
cursor movement keys up/down/left/right or diagonals. For greater (10x) up/down/
left/right movement of the screen, hold down open-apple in conjunction with the
cursor movement key (W/X/A/D).
