				Converted Apple IIGS pictures

This collection originated from Apple Preferred, Super High Res, Paintwoks Gold etc pictures
containg up to 256 color and .3200, .3201 pictures containg upp to 3200 colors.

All conversions has been done with SuperConvert 4 and then transferred to MS-DOS diskettes
using MUG! NDA and Apple SuperDrive.

Pictures containing up to 64 colors has been saved as .GIF (small size), up to 150 color as
.TIF palette color (bigger size) and >150 color as .TIF true color (biggest size).

Since SuperConvert lacks ability to save pictures in JPEG format, .GIF and .TIF pictures
has been used.

Why doing this conversions ? Todays hand held devices like the Apple iPod photo and mobile
phones has a raher low resolution, large JPEG-pictures get a very "compressed" impression
but the IIGS 320 x 200 pictures fit better into the display. The iPod photo displays
the pictures with very little loss (even though it has only 220x176 resolution). I have
not tried the iPod Video yet, but it should be able to display the pictures as is since
it has higher screen resolution (320x240).

I have of coure a picture on Apple IIGS made on IIGS in my SonyEricsson K700i Mobile phone
but since the screen resolution is less than the iPod Photo it gets a more compressed
inpression.
